Nevada’s literary patron saint, Mark Twain, is a racist? C’mon, man!

I’m more curious than anything else, but I wonder what Sen. Harry Reid has to say about Mark Twain being branded a racist?

Sen. Reid is leading the charge to get the National Football League to change the name of the Washington Redskins.

Now in his home state, Mark Twin has been scratched from naming rights for a cove at Lake Tahoe on grounds that some 120 years ago when he bumped around Northern Nevada he was racist toward Native Americans.

What say ye, Sen. Reid? A little Senate floor speech on Twain book burning, perhaps?
