New Angle TV ad says Americans paid heavy price for Pelosi-Reid-Obama ‘love story’

Sharron Angle's latest TV ad says Americans have paid a heavy price due to "the most tragic love story of our time" -- the Democratic leadership of U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Barack Obama.

"Together they promised to change America, and boy did they," says the 30-second ad that plays smoky music and shows images of Pelosi, Obama and Reid.

The ad slams Democratic policies, including what it called a "taxpayer bailout for Wall Street," a $787 billion stimulus bill that "failed" and "reckless" spending that has led to "record deficits" and "skyrocketing unemployment."

Reid and Obama say the efforts to save banks from closing and the economy from collapsing have prevented an even deeper recession.

But the Angle ad says the Obama-Pelosi-Reid policies have done just the opposite, hurting the economy instead.

"They say you can’t buy love, but we’ve certainly paid a heavy price," the ad says.
