New chip leader: Jake Balsiger moves to the top

It took more than eight hours, but for the first time tonight, Jake Balsiger has the chip lead at the Main Event.

He doubled up through Jesse Sylvia, whose all-in declaration on the 349th hand of the final table was snap-called. Balsiger’s pocket kings held and he flopped places with Sylvia.

Balsiger has 92.3 million in chips, followed by Greg Merson, who has 68.8 million. Sylvia has 37.1 million.
