New releases for week of Aug. 25

With “206 Bones (Temperance Brennan Series No. 12),” Kathy Reichs, the producer of the Fox network’s “Bones” television show, returns to her series featuring Temperance Brennan, in which Tempe tries to discover who wants her dead after she regains consciousness only to find herself injured, bound and held captive underground.
Dean Koontz has a bit of nonfiction coming readers’ way this week with “A Big Little Life: A Memoir of a Joyful Dog,” which recounts the lessons the best-selling author learned from his dog, Trixie.
