Next big Vegas fight: Howard “the screamer” Dean v. Karl “Bush’s brain” Rove

Former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean and former adviser to George W. Bush Karl Rove will ring the bell on a policy and politics debate next month at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Dean, the former Democratic presidential candidate whose ardent and vocal supporters were called "Deaniacs", and Rove, widely criticized by liberals as the mastermind behind every Bush policy they opposed, will meet April 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall to "debate issues such as health care reform, foreign affairs and economics" as part of the Barrick Lecture Series.

The event is free and open to the public but requires tickets to attend.

Here are the details from UNLV on how to get in: The general public can pick up tickets starting March 20 at 10 a.m. There is a limit of two tickets per person. Tickets are available at the UNLV Performing Arts Center box office off Cottage Grove Avenue at S. Maryland Parkway. For more information, please call (702) 895-2787 or visit http://pac.unlv.edu/.
