Paul, Trump campaign in Nevada next week

Republican presidential contenders Rand Paul and Donald Trump will visit Nevada next week.

The first to come here will be Paul, a U.S. senator from Kentucky. He plans to open his campaign's Nevada office at 5:30 p.m. Monday at 1110 Palms Airport Drive, Suite 120, Las Vegas.

Paul will swing from Las Vegas to Pahrump on Tuesday. He'll have a public event at 8:30 a.m. at the Bob Ruud Center, 400 N. Highway 160.

Trump will speak in Northern Nevada at noon Thursday at The Nugget Casino, 1100 Nugget Ave., Sparks. Doors for that event will open at 10:30 a.m.

Both candidates are running in a crowded field of more than a dozen GOP candidates.

Nevada is an early voting state, with February caucuses that play a key role in determining who gets the nomination.
