PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View's pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

"This photo shows our Yorkie, 2-year-old Abigail, and her sister cat, 12-year-old Buffy, the mouse slayer," said Helene Baker of Las Vegas.

"Dallas is a 13-year-old Maltese. He has the sweetest personality. Loves just hanging around the house and relaxing. Dallas is a very friendly, very loyal dog that wants nothing but food and love .... especially love," said Lawrence Maggio of Las Vegas.

"This is D-O-G. She is almost 2 years old. This photo was taken right before we went for a ride in the car," said Shelby Androvandi of Las Vegas.

"This is my 6-month-old best friend, golden retriever Lucy. Waiting patiently with her stuffed duck to begin her morning duck hunting training," said Tom Rubidoux Jr. of Las Vegas.

"This is Millie, our 16-year-old Maine coon cat. She weighs 19 pounds. She looks like Jabba the Hut from 'Star Wars.' She's relaxing after a hard day of eating," said Evelyn Corner of Henderson.
