PETS: Readers send in photos of their animals

Readers have submitted hundreds of entries to the View’s pets section. And, because we only can feature a few photos each week in the newspaper, we decided to expand the sharing online. We hope you enjoy these extra faces, and remind you to check back each Tuesday for more photos of your best friends.

“Jazzee is our little girl,” wrote Veralyn King and Bob Molina of Las Vegas. “She loves to pose and look cute. We never have a dull moment around our house because she loves to be in the middle of anything we do. She also loves to chew on paper and share my husband’s wheelchair.”

Ruth Hollar of North Las Vegas sent in this photo of her Yorkie, Mindy. “She will pull that basket into the entry area and take out all her stuffed animals. She is only 4 pounds, and when she did it the first time, it surprised me. She is a special little dog and so good.”

“I’m a kitty in a basket — I explore everything,” wrote Kerin Schroeder of Las Vegas about her cat Puzzi D. Katt.

Henry Ricci of Las Vegas shared this photo of his Weimaraner, Hopi, who loves to watch Animal Planet. “When I change channels, he covers his ears until I put Animal Planet back on.”

Geri Abrahms of Las Vegas shared this photo of her dog Bullwinkle. “I like to sit outside on my bench and I love to ride in the car and I love my treats.”
