PETS: Readers share photos of their animals

Helene Baker of Las Vegas sent this photo of her dog, Lady Abigail of Yorkshire (Abby), "also known as 'The Hamburgler,' " she wrote.

"We got Kitty Barrette at a yard sale at 4 months old," wrote Shirley Barrette of North Las Vegas. "She was scared, hungry and very alone among so many grown ups. We picked her up and brought her home 4 years ago."

"This photo was taken when our granddaughter was a week old," wrote Gay Schaffer of Henderson. "The family dog, Libby, never left her side. She'd nap with her and steal her pacifier whenever she could."

"This is Molly, a 2 1/2-year-old Shih Tzu I adopted ...," wrote Dot Blum of Las Vegas. "She is ready for a Valentine party at Petco. She loved the bow on her head!"
