Pulte to debut new project

Pulte Homes is previewing its newest community in Las Vegas’ southwest valley, Coldwater Crossing in the Mountain’s Edge master-planned community.

“Coldwater Crossing’s combination of affordability, along with proximity to jobs, good schools, retail and services offers an ideal combination to homebuyers seeking a very special place to live,” said Linda Mamet, vice president of sales for Pulte Group’s Las Vegas Division.

Mountain’s Edge has a network of existing and planned schools, offices, restaurants and neighborhood shops ranging from convenience and grocery stores to nearby malls and outlets. Close to mountain biking and trails, the community is near the Nathaniel Jones and Exploration parks and a water park.

Located south of Blue Diamond Road, State Route 160, and near Interstate 15, Coldwater Crossings is a short drive to the Las Vegas Strip and McCarran International Airport.

The two-level homes start at $237,880, and range from 2,047 to 2,593 square feet. The four home designs feature open living areas with as many as four bedrooms and as many as 3½ baths.

Each plan also includes a game room, loft or flexible den space. Interior features include birch wood cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel undermount sinks in the kitchen, recessed lighting, ceramic tile in key areas and dual bowl vanities in the master bath.

The community features Pulte’s Life Tested designs that are a result of local consumer research on how families really live in their homes, Mamet said.

“Our homes are constantly being updated with the innovations that come from the people who know how a home should function — the people living in them,” Mamet said. “The result is a home that is truly built for how you live in it.”

Coldwater Crossing homes have environmentally friendly features such as blown-in cellulose insulation, 15 SEER-rated air-conditioning system, energy-efficient gas furnace, low-E2 dual-pane windows with vinyl frames in beige, digital programmable thermostat, florescent lighting in the garage and laundry, tankless water heater, Energy Star appliances, water-efficient toilets, water-saving shower heads and faucets, fresh-air circulation system, low VOC paint and recycled building materials.
