Nevada Contractors to hold membership luncheon

The Nevada Contractors Association, a nonprofit industry trade group, will host a membership luncheon March 9, at the Rio All-Suite Resort Casino, 3700 Flamingo Road. Home rescue fair to be held today in North Las Vegas

The Alliance for Stabilizing our Communities will host a home rescue fair for communities facing foreclosures.

The fair will offer one-on-one sessions with a loan specialist, Housing and Urban Development-approved housing counselors and attorneys, foreclosure prevention workshops and in-language assistance.

The Alliance for Stabilizing our Communities include affiliates: the National Council of La Raza, Bank of America, Community Services of Nevada, city of Las Vegas and city of North Las Vegas.

The fair will be held at Rancho High School, 1900 Searles Ave. from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
