Speaking at a New York City fundraiser Monday morning, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told the paying guests that their junior senator Kirsten Gillibrand is considered “the hottest member” of the Senate by her colleagues.
Gillibrand turned red with embarrassment at the remark, according to Politico.
Reid spokesman Jim Manley confirmed the episode to Politico but noted that Reid also had praised her performance as a senator.
