Reid looking for answers in Iraq electrocution death

Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., wants answers to questions about the death of a Nevada man who was electrocuted while working as a contractor for the State Department in Iraq.

In letters to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Reid questioned whether faulty electrical work by contractors such as Kellogg Brown & Root which was implicated in similar incidents or another contractor was responsible for the death of Adam Hermanson on September 1. Hermanson was electrocuted while showering in a dormitory in Baghdad.

"I am outraged that Americans who have chosen to brave the extreme challenges and risks of supporting our mission in Iraq have been killed or injured as a result of negligence by KBR or other government contractors."
