Relax, America, the Tea Party Caucus is on the job
December 2, 2010 - 4:30 pm
Reid Wilson of the National Journal has a piece that’s sure to bring laughter to those who think the Tea Party movement is fast becoming one hilarious road show now that some Washington Republicans have embraced it.
Wilson notes that the supposedly austere Tea Party Caucus is taking more than $1 billion in earmarks despite its mantra that such things are evil and bad business and are ruining the formerly pristine waters of nation’s political Potomac.
Here’s the list of not-so-secret pork eaters. Some have sworn off swine for more than a year, but others just can’t resist Washington’s other white meat.
The 2010 list is provided by Citizens Against Government Waste’s “Pig Book.”
Bon apetit!
