Rhodes Homes to open Saybrook this weekend

Rhodes Homes plans to open model homes in its new Saybrook neighborhood in Rhodes Ranch master-planned golf community in southwestern Las Vegas this Memorial Day weekend.

"The homes at Saybrook provide the perfect opportunity for home buyers to purchase a beautiful new home in one of the most desirable master plans in Las Vegas," said Ryan Soucie, director of sales for Rhodes Homes.

The models at Saybrook include Model 3021 and Model 3431, each named for its square footage. Prices start in the low $400,000s.

Model 3021 has a first-floor great room that includes the kitchen, breakfast nook and family room. The floor plan flows from the great room to a separate dining room and a living room that sits next to the home's staircase.

Model 3431 also utilizes a great room on its first floor, with the kitchen, casual dining area and family room located in an open area in the back of the home with a view of the backyard. The design's formal dining area is adjacent to the kitchen.

"Placing windows to account for incoming light was one of the primary considerations when the design was put together for the 3431's floor plan," said Glynda Rhodes, vice president of interior and architectural design for Rhodes Homes and president of i.d. Interior Design, the company responsible for the interior design at Saybrook. "This design rewards buyers with a home that's light and airy, with different angles of light coming into the home all year long."

To visit Saybrook, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway to Durango Drive, and then go south to Rhodes Ranch Parkway where the entrance to Rhodes Ranch is framed with palm trees.
