Rhodes Ranch celebrates tribute to moms at R-Club

In a tribute to moms and all they do, The R-Club at Rhodes Ranch held a special tea and fashion show for residents of the master-planned golf community in southwestern Las Vegas.

"This was the first time we held this event and it was so fun to see all of the mothers and their kids spending the day together," said Virginia Kaplan, program manager at The R-Club. "The fashion show featured women's clothes from Mr. Coopers and children's pieces from Little Divas. Women and girls from Rhodes Ranch modeled the outfits from the retailers."

A representative from Total Health Nutrition spoke to the crowd on health and safety issues facing women.

"The presentation covered everything from the use of supplements to ways women can protect themselves from the physical dangers associated with living in a big city," Kaplan said. "He spoke for about 30 minutes on a broad spectrum of issues. I think the women found his presentation informative, valuable and applicable."

Everyone present received a raffle ticket upon arrival for the chance to win one of eight gifts. Total Health Nutrition and Little Divas donated gift baskets and Mr. Coopers donated store gift certificates.
