Ryland’s Amado Pointe opens in Summerlin’s The Mesa village

Amado Pointe by Ryland Homes is selling in Summerlin. The neighborhood features four two-story home floor plans ranging from 2,175 to 2,389 square feet, priced from the high $200,000s.

It's the only neighborhood in Summerlin that offers rooftop decks, which give residents panoramic mountain and city views.

"Rooftop decks provide a great place to relax and entertain outdoors," said Julie Cleaver, senior vice president of design and planning for The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin. "The decks showcase unique views and add significantly to property values - especially in a location like Las Vegas given its climate. We anticipate the rooftop decks to be very popular with Southern Nevada homebuyers."

Ryland's 2,175-square-foot Plan Two floor plan features three bedrooms, 3½ baths, loft, covered balcony and an oversized two-car garage.

The majority of living areas are on the first floor, including the master bedroom, kitchen, living room and laundry. A second master bedroom with a full bath and closet is on the second floor.

The 2,309-square-foot Plan Three floor plan is a split-level home with a downstairs family room, oversized laundry room and master bedroom. Upstairs is the great room with dining area, kitchen, den and two additional bedrooms.

Amado Pointe is in Summerlin's newest and most southern village developed, The Mesa. The nearly 500-acre village is adjacent to the federally protected Spring Mountains, offering residents a scenic neighborhood backdrop.

Amenities include miles of walking trails; The Mesa Park, a 19-acre village park with three Little League baseball fields (one with a concession stand), lighted tennis and basketball courts, a tot lot area and picnic ramadas; and Bishop Gorman High School, a 58-year-old Catholic college preparatory school.

Residents also have access to a neighborhood park and private pool for residents.

To visit The Mesa village from the Las Vegas Beltway, exit westbound at Russell Road and follow the signs.
