Shea Homes’ Ardiente in North Las Vegas reports sales increase

According to Ryan Smith, sales manager at Shea Homes at Ardiente, sales have been brisk at the North Las Vegas age-qualified master-planned community by Shea Homes.

"We just had our best week of the year," Smith said. "This uptick in activity supports the value message we received from our mid-year economic forecast."

Speaking at the economic forecast was Mark Boud, founder of Real Estate Economics, who said that homes in Las Vegas are undervalued by 58 percent.

"Las Vegas presents an exceptional value," Boud said.

"(The) ideal time for housing and residential land purchases in this particular region is during the next 12 to 24 months. Thereafter, strong values will continue, but at a diminishing rate. Never before have housing values been so strong in this region. For those households who are secure in their jobs and can purchase a home with a fixed-rate mortgage, this region offers good opportunities," Boud said during an economic summary of the Las Vegas market published in Ezine Articles.

"Our buyers fit this profile perfectly," Smith said.

The six designs range from 1,359 to 1,928 square feet and are priced from the mid-$100,000s.

Buyers can select from 2,000 options, upgrades and upgrade packages through the onsite Shea Design Studio. Shea Homes onsite interior designer Lisa Kossey, will help Ardiente homebuyers navigate the latest in floorings, cabinetry, window coverings, paints and wall coverings.

All homes are built to Shea Green Certified standards and, according to Smith, the potential for energy savings is as much as 30 percent and carbon footprint reduction of up to 48 percent. Environments for Living homes offer written performance guarantees on heating and cooling energy use.
