Shea shows off Florence home model
Shea Homes at Ardiente, an age-qualified, resort-style community for people 55 and older, offers 10 designer home models.
Kyle Tibbitts, community manager at Ardiente, said Shea has brought advanced housing options to Nevada.
“With the housing market rebound in full swing, baby boomers are looking for the perfect place to start a new chapter in their lives, and our homes are designed with easy living and functionality in mind,” Tibbitts said.
For example, Ardiente’s Florence model has 1,661 square feet with two beds, two baths and a two-car garage starting in the low $200,000s. It offers a flexible living space and a great room.
“Homeowners have every reason to host an Academy Awards screening or invite their spin class to dinner with the popular Florence model, crafted to be an ideal social hub for entertainers,” Tibbitts said.
The great room opens into the kitchen, so residents can still be a part of the conversation while popping a bottle of champagne or preparing appetizers.
The Florence offers a separate dining room for formal occasions or the cozy kitchen dining nook for a lazy Sunday morning. This floor plan also allows the option of converting the formal dining room into a lounge, game room or study.
“Our residents always enjoy guest visits, and the Florence provides an ideal guest suite situated at the front of the home, set apart from the master suite for extra privacy,” Tibbitts said.
Tapping into the trend of outdoor entertaining, there is a private covered patio accessible from the breakfast nook, creating a seamless flow between the two spaces and providing the comfort of the inside outdoors.
At the community’s core is a 20,000-square-foot club featuring two resort-style pools, fitness center, group exercise studio, billiards and game rooms and access to miles of walking trails.
The community also offers the SheaXero — No Electric Bill Homes , which helps to eliminate and reduce monthly electric bills and can save homeowners as much as $3,000 a year, Tibbitts said.
He said SheaXero uses a powerful SolarCity solar system, plus 14 energy-saving features, such as Trane energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, low-e3 vinyl windows and cathedralized attic insulation. Tibbitts said the solar and energy-efficient features are included in the home’s base price.
SheaXero home prices start in the low $170,000. For more information, visit trilogylife.com or call 877-298-4272.
