SHOOTING STARS EXTRA: Ready for your close-up?

Well, it's not quite "A Star Is Born." But if you're a performer eager for on-camera experience, UNLV film students want you.
The university's film department will hold a second casting call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in Room A-106 of the Classroom Building Complex for the short films to be made by students in Film Production II and III classes.
A "meal & reel deal" — on-set catering and a copy of the finished film for future auditions — is included on all productions.
Prospective cast members should bring a current headshot and resume to the audition. For directions or questions, call 895-2535; you can find a map of the UNLV campus at www.unlv.edu.)
