Show still goes on for Holly Madison
Holly Madison wants the best of both worlds: balancing motherhood with her love of entertainment.
The latter pulled her back on stage Wednesday when she did a guest singing appearance on the “Million Dollar Quartet” at Harrah’s Las Vegas.
She teamed up on a duet with Elvis tribute artist Justin Shandor. They re-created the “Viva Las Vegas” scene when Ann-Margret and Elvis steamed up the silver screen with “The Lady Loves Me.”
Madison, whose 1.3 million Twitter followers makes her one of the most popular celebrities in town, made it clear she’s planning to stay in entertainment past her headlining days.
“Something that might evolve into behind the scenes eventually,” she said.
In this week’s Q-and-A interview at normclarke.com, Madison reveals how she was injured shortly before her September wedding. She also reveals she’s in negotiations associated with an entertainment project, planning for another baby and recently shot a pilot.
She and her husband, Pasquale Rotella, founder of the remarkably successful Electric Daisy Carnival, plan to raise their nine-month-old daughter, Rainbow, in Las Vegas.
‘HANGOVER’ RE-CREATED
Jimmie Johnson’s re-creation of “The Hangover” was going viral on Thursday.
Johnson, in town to be toasted at NASCAR’s awards dinner tonight at Wynn Las Vegas, sent out a series of Instagram photos on Twitter with hotel room scenes reminiscent of the hit film that was filmed in Las Vegas.
He hinted there’s more to come. Johnson explained how it came together to USA Today:
“It started off Monday when I left L.A. to come over here. I sent out a tweet (referencing ‘Hangover’) and the response got us all thinking about things.
“My office is out here – they traveled with me on Monday – and before I knew it, I came back to my room and there was a stuffed tiger, a little chicken, a baby, little outfits for the baby, a carrier, the whole thing. It was like, hey, we could have some fun with this.
“We’ve had fun, and I have a few other fun things coming out. Hopefully one really big one coming up still.”
