Small town ‘gas war’ brings prices as low as 95 cents — VIDEO

Two gas stations in Dinwiniddie County, Virginia engaged in a friendly gas price "war" to compete for the lowest prices Friday afternoon.

With gas prices dropping as low as $.95 per gallon, drivers came out of the woodwork to take advantage of the record low prices.

Located directly across the street from each other, the two gas stations continuously and rapidly kept dropping prices in order to attract customers away from the other station. The "war" started around 4 p.m. on Friday and the owners honored the extremely low prices until every car in line was filled up, WTVR reported.

Mohamed Garawi, owner of Quick Mart, said he did not anticipate as much response to the gas war as they experienced. However, when asked if he would hold another low price gas war, he simply responded, "well, maybe."
