"Seeking Justice Through Art": The exhibit featuring social justice-themed art is planned from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays through April 9 at the Left of Center Gallery, 2207 W. Pahrump Hot Air Balloon Festival: The annual event is set for noon Feb. 26 and 8 a.m. Feb. 27 and 28 at Petrack Park, 150 state Route 160, in Pahrump, about 60 miles west of Las Vegas. The family-friendly festival is set to bring together more than 20 hot air balloon pilots from the western states, music, entertainment, food, arts and crafts, and more. Color Run: The fifth annual event, dubbed the "Happiest 5K on the Planet, is set for 8 a.m. Feb, 27 in downtown Las Vegas, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Three Square food bank. Runners, walkers or sprinters of all ages and athletic abilities will be bathed in an array of colors and island scents as they cruise through a scene of palm trees, vibrant arches and festive music.
