3. Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival: The 22nd annual festival is set to return to Sunset Park, 2601 E. Sunset Road, Oct. 9-11. More than 200 artisans, historical re-enactments, and food and drink are planned. With traditional musical performances from Wicked Tinkers, Dread Crew of Oddwood, Bogtrotter's Union and Killian's Angels, and the return of the dinner theater, this year's event is set to feature several smaller stages with entertainment by the Gypsy Time Travelers, Mullaney, Nature of Mercy, Whiskey Bards and costumed performers such as the Bawdy Juggler Adam Reid, Endless Productions and the Snake Army. 4. Pawcasso Art & Silent Auction: The fourth annual fundraiser is planned from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Marjorie Barrick Museum at UNLV, 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. A cocktail party, hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, live music, original art by local artists and a raffle are planned to raise funds for local animal rescue groups. Nevada Welcomes the World: A new exhibit, featuring the Nevada pavilion designs of Frederick DeLongchamps featured in San Francisco and San Diego's 1915 world expositions, is on display at the Nevada State Museum inside the Springs Preserve, 309 S.
