  • The Easter Bunny is scheduled to be at Downtown Summerlin, 1850 Festival Park Drive, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through April 4. Children’s activities are planned, including a springtime arts and crafts fair from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 28 and April 4, as well as from 1 to 3 p.m. March 30 through April 3, with the addition of face painters, balloon artists and magicians. Demonstrations are planned in the Kid’s Kitchen every hour on the hour from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 28 and April 4. A teddy bear picnic is planned at 1, 3 and 5 p.m. April 1, hosted by Build-A-Bear Workshop and set to feature arts and crafts and activities by Pawlette. Adults can enjoy chef demonstrations at noon, 2 and 4 p.m. March 29 and a Paint Party under the stars for guests 21 or older from 6 to 9 p.m. March 27 and April 3 (register online).   • The Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd., has re-opened its Butterfly Habitat for spring. The habitat is open each fall and spring, as temperatures permit, and features hundreds of butterflies and a variety of plants. Butterfly species are set to include mourning cloak, red admiral, painted lady, American lady, monarch and queen. A separate entrance fee is charged for the habitat, with members paying $2 and nonmembers paying $3. The habitat is slated to be open during Springs Preserve operating hours, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.   • The Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort is offering its Snow Day program focused on getting local youths involved in outdoor winter recreation. The field trip-style youth program targets local public, private and home school groups and includes ski or snowboard lessons. Children can also learn about winter safety and the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. The program runs through March. The cost is $35 per student during weekdays, $45 on Saturdays and Sundays, with a complimentary chaperone ticket included for every 12 students. Groups are limited to 200 students, and schools are required to provide one chaperone for every 20 students.
