The new Hyundai Genesis sedan has a brain of its own

The 2015 Hyundai Genesis sedan, rated the No. 1 midsize Premium Car by J.D. Power and Associates, has a long line of standard features. But the car’s smart cruise control has drawn international acclaim.
Planet Hyundai Sahara Delivery Specialist Bob Higdon says the Genesis sedan drives itself; it automatically slows when approaching traffic and will even stop in an emergency situation.
A YouTube video called “Empty Car Convoy” shows there isn’t much the 2015 Hyundai Genesis can’t do. As Higdon says, “You really have to work hard to wreck one of these cars.”
The Genesis Sedan, available at Planet Hyundai Sahara, 7150 W. Sahara Ave., is highlighted by its luxury and safety features.
Beyond smart cruise, the Genesis has lane keep assist, which detects when a driver has difficulty staying in a lane and uses gentle steering compensation to correct this at traveling speeds above 44 miles an hour. When the vehicle drifts outside the lane, a vibrating steering wheel will alert the driver as will an audio cue or a visual on a heads-up display.
Hyundai’s 10-year, 100,000 mile powertrain warranty and five-year, 60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty also offer buyers peace of mind.
