The third annual Mount Charleston Arts and Crafts Show is planned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 11 and Aug. 12 at The Resort on Mount Charleston, 2 Kyle Canyon Road. Fine art, jewelry, clothing, fiber arts, toys, pet supplies, baby and children's clothing, home decor and other crafts are to be featured by valley artisans. Prepare for "Rock and Roll-Zydeco," a Music on the Mountain show, planned for 10:30 a.m. Aug. 18 at the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort, 6725 Lee Canyon Road on Mount Charleston. Gates open at 10 a.m. Acts are scheduled to include Blues Storm, the Diane Kallay Band, Howlin Hounds and the Mike Vaughn Band.
