Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, 15 miles west of Las Vegas on state Route 159, is set to host its annual Civil War Days re enactment Friday through Sunday. Friday is set aside as an education day with groups demonstrating traditional roles from the era from noon to 3 p.m. Battles are scheduled at 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The final battle is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Sunday. The park entrance fee is $7 per car for Nevada residents.
