Toll Brothers to host home event in Traccia, Fairway Hills in Summerlin

Toll Brothers will host behind-the-scenes tours of homes under construction during its Toll Advantage Days, April 28- 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at two Summerlin locations: Fairway Hills in The Ridges and Traccia in Summerlin Centre. The tours are free and include refreshments between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Conducted by the builder's management teams and industry experts, the public will have the opportunity to tour construction sites and learn about land planning, community design, quality construction, home technology, structural wiring, energy efficiency, new products and the latest trends in design features.

According to Gary Mayo, group president for Toll Brothers, Advantage Days is a nationwide event in educating home buyers on the construction process. "We want prospective home buyers to experience first-hand the quality of our homes," he said.

"Toll Brothers is one of the nation's leading luxury homebuilders, and as such, they are well qualified to educate the public on quality construction practices," said Kevin Orrock, top division executive for The Howard Hughes Corp., an affiliate of General Growth Properties and developer of Summerlin.

According to Orrock, the builder has been building in Summerlin since its inception and has constructed more than 2,000 homes in the community.

"We're pleased to be the host community for this event and hope valley residents will take advantage of the opportunity to learn about home building in Summerlin."

Fairway Hills is a luxury townhome development of six floor plans, ranging from 1,966 to 2,956 square feet, priced from the mid-$600,000s. The neighborhood is located on Jack Nicklaus' Bear's Best Las Vegas golf course in The Ridges custom-estate village.

Bear's Best showcases replicas of desert-themed golf courses and is the centerpiece of The Ridges.

Traccia is a single-family home neighborhood located in Summerlin Centre. The neighborhood features 10 floor plans from 1,660 to 3,151 square feet, priced from the mid-$400,000s.

Fairway Hills features a private clubhouse under construction that includes a fitness center, media room, swimming pool, three spas, a barbecue site, fire pit, recreation area, putting green, covered community patio and catering kitchen.

Traccia also features a clubhouse and fully equipped fitness center in addition to tennis courts, two pools and walking and jogging trails. Both neighborhoods are guard gated.

To attend Toll Advantage Days at Fairway Hills, exit Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway, west at Town Centre Drive. Turn right onto Flamingo Road. Continue to the roundabout exiting to Granite Ridge Drive; the Fairway Hills entrance is on the right. To attend Toll Advantage Days at Traccia, travel west on Sahara Avenue; the neighborhood is located just west of the 215 Beltway on the north side of the street.
