Trump Tower hits prime time
April 8, 2007 - 9:00 pm
The Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas will be aired at 10 p.m. on KVBC-TV, Channel 3 tonight, when it is showcased on an episode of "The Apprentice." Candidates on the show were given a task centered on Donald Trump's Las Vegas condo-hotel development.
"It was exciting to be a part of such a high-profile, national television program," said Jack Christie, vice president of sales and marketing for Trump Las Vegas. "About 30 crew members spent an entire day filming in our sales office and at the tower currently under construction."
The 64-story tower, which is expected to top off its concrete construction later this month, is scheduled to open in early 2008.
The tower opened for reservations with an announcement on "The Apprentice's" second season in 2004, when Trump gave the winner, Kelly Perdew, the option of working at his development in Las Vegas or New York City. Perdew chose Las Vegas.
"Look for another big announcement on tonight's episode," Christie said. "Donald Trump will announce to the world our plans for the future of the property."
The Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas is comprised of 1,282 condos, with studio units, one bedroom units and one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites.
Prices at the Trump International Hotel & Tower Las Vegas range from the $700,000s to $7 million. Buyers can live in the unit full time or part time, rent it through the Trump hotel operations or rent it themselves.
