Towbin Dodge, 275 Auto Mall Drive, is teaming up with the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to host Adopt-A-Pet Day Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the dealership.
The NSPCA is a nonprofit organization that strives to find suitable homes for rescued animals. The society ensures that all animals up for adoption are up to date on major vaccinations and are spayed or neutered.
Friendly Ford, The Animal Foundation and 97.1 The Point are presenting Paws for the Cause Pet Adoption on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Friendly Ford, 660 N. Decatur Blvd.
All pets up for adoption are spayed or neutered and up to date on shots. Also, pet bandanas, Frisbees, T-shirts and dog food will be given away with every pet adoption, plus everyone who adopts a pet will receive a complimentary mini-studio portrait session from Pet'ographique!
The foundation's low-cost spay and neuter trailer will be on hand at the event offering a menu of low-cost services including $20 microchips, $12 anal gland expression and $5 nail trims.
The foundation believes community is essential, education is empowerment and action is everything. Its mission is to inspire and enable people to join the fight against pet overpopulation.
