Warmington celebrates a decade

This year, Warmington Homes Nevada, a division of The Warmington Group of companies, is celebrating 10 years of home building. The company is backed by more than 80 years of industry experience with its parent company, The Warmington Group.

"It is an honor to be celebrating our 10-year anniversary serving the needs of home buyers in the Las Vegas Valley," said Greg Oberling, president of Warmington Homes Nevada. "With such a longstanding history and legacy in home building, we pride ourselves in continuing the Warmington reputation for building innovatively designed and well-constructed homes that appeal to a wide variety of buyers."

In 1926, the Warmington name achieved recognition as one of Southern California's foremost builders of estate homes for some of that era's emerging screen legends, including Claudette Colbert, Bing Crosby, Henry Fonda, Tyrone Power and Douglas Fairbanks Jr.

By the 1930s Warmington had become known as the "builder to the stars," and was designing and building custom homes in some of Southern California's most prestigious locations -- Beverly Hills, Bel Air and Westwood.

In the 1940's Warmington broadened its presence in the home-building industry by creating neighborhoods designed to meet the needs of the American family. Although less grand in scale, these homes reflected the same craftsmanship and attention to detail that were present in the grand estate homes first built by the company, Oberling said.

In 1997, Warmington Homes Nevada began building homes in the Las Vegas Valley. Today, The Warmington Group builds homes in Las Vegas and California. Warmington Homes Nevada has built more than 2,000 homes in more than 25 new neighborhoods in the Las Vegas area.

The company has nine neighborhoods selling in the greater Las Vegas area representing a variety of product types, including estate-size residences, single-family detached homes and condominiums.

Single-family home neighborhoods in southwest Las Vegas include Provence Estates, Carlisle Place, Mandolin at Mountain's Edge and York Village. Brighton Village in south Las Vegas and Emerson in northwest Las Vegas are also among the single-family homes now selling. The company is offering condominiums and townhomes, including Esplanade Metro Collection and Esplanade Plaza Collection in southwest Las Vegas and Cambria in northwest Las Vegas.

Prices range from the $170,000s to the $600,000s.

Home shoppers can preview all nine neighborhoods by logging onto WarmingtonHomesNV.com. The Web site offers floor plans, photos, a list of included features, contact information and directions to each neighborhood.
