What made the wannabomber do it? His upside-down mortgage, of course

The liberal mind is a strange and scary thing to behold. Consider these two CNN talking heads who seem to use the detail that the Times Square wannabomber was underwater on his house mortgage to seemingly sympathize and explain his motivation.

What must they think of Las Vegas where 70% of the homeowners are underwater in their mortgages?

Are we a hotbed of budding terrorists?

No, most of us just gut it out.

Faisal Shahzad, however, got behind on his payments and thought the solution was to spend five months in his former home country at a terrorist bomb-making camp.

In the meanwhile, if the CNN crew isn't too busy trying to lay blame for this act of terrorism on the economic crisis caused by George Bush, I hope they'll get around to asking a question or two of the non-comps in Homeland Security about how Faisal Shahzad actually was allowed to board a plane when he was on the "no-fly" list.

If the CNN crew will continue to use their powers of analysis, maybe they'll eventually feel sorry for him because his recently purchased SUV was damaged in a "man-caused disaster" in Times Square.
