White Horse South subdivision adds Bel Air to home collection
Lennar is putting the finishing touches on a new model home, the Bel Air, for White Horse South located in the northwestern valley at Torrey Pines Drive.
The neighborhood offers 120 home sites of one-third to one-half acre. It features a palm-tree-lined entry drive, leading to custom-designed ironwork gates, a resident's greenbelt park and views of mountain vistas to the north.
Pricing starts in the $700,000s.
"All of the current model homes which we premiered earlier this year are traditional two-story designs, but the Bel Air is something a bit out of the ordinary," said sales agent Sylvia Levy.
"This floor plan has a storied history. It began as a sprawling 2,600-square-foot, single-story design, the Brentwood. The home design eventually grew to over 3,000 square feet, as home buyers requested adding square footage to the master suite and family room. Which is actually the current Brentwood design you see in other Lennar communities in the valley.
"Then, a few years ago, a home buyer wanted to know if we could add a loft or mezzanine area so that he could create a large hobby room or bonus room on a 'created' second level," she continued. "And that creation has become the Bel Air model. It's a wonderful example of the Lennar philosophy of asking our home buyers what is important to them, and then implementing those ideas to build homes that have what buyers want most."
The Bel Air design offers 3,911 square feet with four bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a three-car garage.
The majority of that footage is on the main floor. The second floor features a 725-square-foot game room with a full bath and private veranda.
"It can be anything you want it to be. A super-sized guest suite, a media room to the max, a children's playroom, a teens' hideaway. That's the beauty of the design and why we decided it was important to have a model at White Horse South. Once you see this space, your imagination goes wild."
The main floor houses the kitchen, formal dining and living rooms, formal foyer and family room.
This level also includes the master retreat and three secondary bedrooms. The home also has a covered porch entry.
The homes range from 3,911 to 5,037 square feet and include three-car garages and are Energy Star-certified. Standard features include paver stones at the drives and front walkways and stone facing accents on selected home elevations.
Inside, there are upgraded appliances, cabinetry and flooring.
To visit, take the northern Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway to Jones Boulevard, exit north on Jones to Elkhorn Road, then west on Elkhorn to Torrey Pines Dive, turn north on Torrey Pines to the new model homes.
The homes are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, except Monday, when they close at 3 p.m.
