Why LeBron spurned the Knicks

If you dig a little into this story, you'll see sound speculation on why basketball star LeBron James chose to play for the team in Miami over the team in New York City. And, it's pretty fundamental. In New York City, LeBron would pay $12-$20 million more in state income taxes.

Aside from that, the Complete Las Vegan urges all (especially my Democratic friends in Nevada) to read this story. It's a cautionary tale about the ills for higher higher higher taxation.
