X-it condominiums offers amenities, lifestyle designed to residents’ needs

Rhodes Homes' X-it features townhome-style condominiums in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley, where the builder hopes to create an atmosphere of both urban and resort-style living.

"There isn't any traffic noise outside at the pool," sales agent Nick Brunson said. "The tropical landscaping and palm trees give some shade and ambiance and the modern patio furniture gives the pool a very put-together look."

The 2,400-square-foot X-it clubhouse features a Jacuzzi, multipurpose common areas, full kitchen, lounge/media and equipped workout areas. The recently built amenities reflect the contemporary style of the community, according to Brunson.

"Residents can reserve the clubhouse for private parties," Brunson said. "Since the entrance to the pool is from the clubhouse, it makes it easy to enjoy the pool during a gathering."

The development's loft-syled townhomes range from 1,663 to 1,759 square feet. The three floor plans are all of three-level design with a first-level courtyard and second-level terrace. Each townhome includes an attached two-car garage.

Plan A is a 1,663-square-foot design of one bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, hobby room, great room and loft. A second bedroom is an option in this plan. Plan B offers 1,690 square feet with two bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, great room and den. The 1,759-square-foot Plan C is a three-bedroom design with 3 1/2 baths, great room and bonus room.

Prices begin in the 200,000s.

Granite countertops, kitchen pantry, Moen faucets and Shaker-style cabinetry are all standard. Great-room areas are prewired with surround sound. Each residence meets Energy Star-ratings with blown-in cellulose insulation, low-e windows, programmable thermostats and 40-gallon gas water heaters.

To reach X-it from the south, take Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway west to Tropicana Avenue. Head east on Tropicana to the northeast corner of Tropicana and the Beltway.

Visitors from the north can take the Beltway east and exit at Tropicana, heading east. Office hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
