X-it throws poolside opening celebration
Hundreds turned out for Rhodes Homes' X-it opening celebration this past weekend, according to Glynda Rhodes, vice president of design for Rhodes Homes and president of i.d. Interior Design, the locally operated firm responsible for the interior decor of X-it.
The event unfolded poolside at the X-it sales and recreation center and offered an Asian-influenced cocktail menu. Guests attending the event received X-it light-up glasses and gift bags and had the opportunity to win a hybrid car.
"We couldn't have asked for a better turnout," Glynda Rhodes said. "I believe part of the success of this event was that we really geared it towards individuals who would be interested in such an unrivaled community. By straying from the typical weekend event and offering an evening cocktail party, we were better able to speak to today's emerging culture."
The developer partnered with a local luxury/lifestyle magazine in promoting and hosting the event. "The magazine's audience dovetailed well with the market we were trying to reach," Rhodes said.
The food was stationed by the pool and in the models, allowing attendees to tour the modern and contemporary models. ID Interior Design has designed the condominiums with a color palette of limes, steel blue, grey and brown, which according to Rhodes, sets the development of 178 three-story residences apart from many developments around the valley.
The residences range from 1,663 to 1,759 square feet. Each comes standard with an attached, two-car garage, first -floor courtyard and second floor-terrace.
Plan A is a 1,663-square-foot plan of one bedroom, 2 1/2 half baths, hobby room, great room and loft. A second bedroom is optional.

The development features a 2,400-square-foot residents clubhouse with multi-purpose recreation room, exercise room, full kitchen and lounge/media area.
