Yes we can … change it back

No spin can change the truth that Tuesday night was a big night for Americans upset with the Obama agenda.

Not even Harry Reid's surprise win over Sharron Angle -- as much of a buzz-kill that it was -- can change it. Don't let the Nevada liberals in denial get you down. It was a big night. An important night for the fiscal health of the country.

A re-read of my Sunday column, which includes this important, and far-seeing (if I may be so bold to say), graph is a worthwhile exercise.

"But the big news Tuesday won't come from the fate of any one member of Congress. The news will be in the wave of conservative Americans -- Republican, Democrat and independent -- standing up together and putting President Obama on notice. Stop deficit spending. Pay down debt. Fix the economy. Prosecute the war on terror. Stop selling America short. Start governing with grace and dignity."
