YOUR WEEKEND: Browse lifestyles of rich, famous at Parade of Homes

I don’t know about you, but I’d like to have a swimming pool in my house, or three-story waterfall. The  22-car garage, I don’t need for my 10-year-old Mitsubishi with its 125,000 miles.

I’m talking about the Parade of Homes tour. It lets those of us who toil 9 to 5 and beyond to glimpse the homes of the rich and blameless.
The tour shows off the newest, most impressive houses Las Vegas has, including one that’s valued—even at today’s numbers—at a whopping $18 million. If I had that kind of money, I could afford different cars.

OK, so maybe I’ll take the 22-car garage after all.

The final weekend of the 2009 Parade of Homes tour is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 8 through 10. Tickets are $25, or, if bought at La-Z-Boy Furniture stores, $20. Find out more information in today's View.
