YOUR WEEKEND: Fiesta Rancho hosts Christmas show at ice rink

A Christmas in New York, an ice show featuring local skaters, will be presented Dec. 13 and 14 in the SoBe Ice Arena at the Fiesta Rancho Casino, 2400 N. Rancho Drive, in North Las Vegas.

Admission is $8 per person, but anyone bringing three cans of food to donate to the needy gets $2 off. Kids 4 and younger are admitted free.

The skaters in the show range in age from 3 to 30. The show will feature 120 skaters. Their artistry on ice will re-create such holiday scenes as Macy’s window and a holiday-decorated Central Park. Other numbers will pay homage to the New York City Ballet and the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes.
Shows are scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 and noon on Sunday, Dec. 14.

The donations of canned goods will be distributed by the Salvation Army.
