YOUR WEEKEND: Find crafts and more at the 2008 Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show


Artisan crafted jewelry, ceramics and glassware, oh my!

Collectors, consumers and craft enthusiasts from across the valley are feeling a little lightheaded from elation and anticipation this morning, as they prepare to brave the patron-packed aisles of Cashman Center.

The 2008 Harvest Festival Original Art & Craft Show returns to Las Vegas this weekend, featuring art, metalwork, wooden sculpture, lithographs, paintings, pottery, handmade accessories and toys and clothes from both regional and national artists.
The event will also feature food and live entertainment.

The show opened at Cashman Center, 859 Las Vegas Blvd. North, opening today, Sept. 5, at 10 a.m. The show will close at 6 p.m. today, but  will reopen in all its craft-tastic splendor Saturday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors and $4 for kids between the ages of 14 and 17. Children 12 and younger get in free.
