YOUR WEEKEND: Low-income taxpayers can get free tax help this Saturday

Still have to do your taxes?

The Internal Revenue Service has dubbed Saturday March 21 Super Saturday and will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its offices at 110 City Parkway in downtown Las Vegas to offer free tax help  with the following services: prepare basic tax returns for lower-income taxpayers (generally $42,000 a year and under) and offer the Earned Income Tax Credit. Often overlooked, EITC provides a large refund for eligible taxpayers; resolve tax issues; answer tax law questions; make account adjustments and set up payment agreements; accept payments; and provide tax forms and information.
