YOUR WEEKEND: Make the most of Mother’s Day with special restaurant deals

If you are planning to celebrate Mother’s Day this Sunday by taking mom out for a meal, several eateries across the valley are offering deals.

Hash House A Go Go will feature Mother’s Day brunch specials at both its valley locations, with specials available from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 6800 W. Sahara Ave. location and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the location inside Imperial Palace, 3535 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Specials, ranging from $8.50 to $22.95, are set to include:

  • Roast Chicken Betsy (Hash House A Go Go’s take on the Benny): a split biscuit with spinach, mushrooms and roasted chicken, topped with scrambled eggs and basil pesto cream, served with mashed potatoes and fresh fruit. Add a glass of champagne for $5.
  • Sally’s Wild Child Mushroom Hash: portabello, shiitake, enoki and oyster mushrooms, corn, asparagus, sun-dried tomato and queso fresco on crispy potatoes with eggs, fruit garnish and a buttermilk biscuit.
  • Mango-Peach-Cinnamon Pancake: served with whipped cream.
  • Mama Margie’s Brunch Favorite: salmon stuffed with shrimp and served on corn mashed potatoes, topped with sun-dried tomato basil cream.
  • Stella’s Shrimp Quesadilla: a flour tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, shrimp, tomato, Brie cheese and griddled mash, all topped with basil pesto cream.

A special drink menu also will be available.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, 8721 W. Charleston Blvd., will offer a three-course brunch menu from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $29.95.

The menu includes a starter choice of fresh fruit or the Wedge Salad. Entrée choices are beef tenderloin with vegetable frittata; berry-stuffed French toast with turkey sage sausage; smoked salmon and toasted bagel; lump crab, asparagus and Swiss cheese frittata; smoked ham chop with hash browns and green beans; or filet Benedict.

Dessert will be walnut turtle pie, crème brulee or New York-style cheesecake.

Mothers also will receive a $25 dining card good through June 14. To make a reservation at Fleming’s, call 838-4774.

Panevino Ristorante, 246 Via Antonio Ave., will offer Mother’s Day specials from 5 to 10 p.m. The restaurant is usually closed on Sundays.

Specials are set to include:

  • Carpaccio Cipriani: thinly sliced raw New York strip with arugula and shaved Grana Padano cheese drizzled with classic cipriani dressing.
  • Tagliatelle con Coda di Aragosta: homemade tagliatelle with sauteed Canadian lobster tail, sun-dried tomatoes and peas in a creamy brandy sauce.
  • Surf & Turf Cara Mamma: grilled petite filet mignon on a bed of mashed potatoes in a wild mushroom sauce and oven-roasted Canadian lobster tail on a bed of sauteed spinach in a lemon-butter sauce.
  • Bigne con Panna montata e salsa di Cioccolato caldo: fresh profiteroles filled with homemade whipped cream drizzled with warm chocolate sauce.
