Weekend Fun Planner: PBR Cup, ACMs, Them Crooked Vultures and more

What's going on this weekend? Glad you asked.

(But first, a program reminder: Listen to Ira David Sternberg and me chat about all things Vegas on "Lunchtime with Ira" at 6 p.m. tonight on KUNV-FM, 91.5, or at KUNV.org.)

Here's our RJ video weekend planner: Professional Bull Riders Wold Cup fetches $20-$200 at Thomas & Mack Center today-Sunday. Check out my interview with Ty Murray in Friday's Review-Journal. The Academy of Country Music Awards hit MGM on Sunday. Lady Antebellum plays free about 10:45 p.m. Friday at Fremont Street. Brooks & Dunn do a TV special Monday at MGM. Gary Allan is Saturday at Mandalay Bay Beach. Randy Travis sings Friday-Saturday at the Silverton. It's Coachella weekend in SoCal, so we get some of those acts on off-nights, including Them Crooked Vultures Saturday at Hard Rock. Arctic Monkeys are Friday at House of Blues. And Dead Weather is Sunday at Palms; I have an interview with the lady singer in Friday's Neon.
