Jon Stewart, Sean Hannity continue war over Bundy

“The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart and Fox News host Sean Hannity are at war over the Range War.

After Stewart criticized Hannity on Monday, calling him “hypocritical” for supporting Cliven Bundy in his battle against BLM, Hannity hit back.

Hannity called Stewart a “hack comedian” on Tuesday, saying Stewart is obsessed with Hannity’s show and had misinformed his audience about Hannity’s comments.

On Wednesday, Stewart lobbed the ball back into Hannity’s court with a scathing criticism of Hannity’s support of Bundy.

“For all the disingenuous, hypocritical, nonfactual, corrosive, hacky, awful, word-turds — the awful word turds that you speak — you did get one thing right,” Stewart said. “I am obsessed with your program in the same way that I am obsessed with antibiotic resistant super bugs, or the Pacific garbage patch, or the KFC double-down, because I just can’t believe that in this day and age, with all that we know, this (expletive) is out there.”

It remained to be seen if Hannity would respond to Stewart on Thursday night, or if the Fox News host would back down following racist remarks made by Bundy and first reported by The New York Times on Thursday.

Bundy repeated his racist comments at a press conference Thursday afternoon.
