Trump announces second tower

Just days after Donald Trump officially announced his plans to build Tower II of Trump International Hotel & Towers Las Vegas, more than 400 units had been reserved in the condominium hotel's second building.

"The response to Donald Trump's announcement of our second tower on 'The Apprentice' has been tremendous," said Jack Christie, vice president of sales and marketing for Trump International Hotel & Towers Las Vegas. "The episode aired on a Sunday evening and our team was ready to handle the flood of inquiries that immediately began to come in."

During the episode, candidates on the NBC hit were given the task of creating a marketing program for Tower II at Trump's Las Vegas Strip development. Christie and Trump's partner in the development, Phil G. Ruffin, both appeared in the episode.

"The fact that Tower I is nearly sold out demonstrates the demand for the Trump brand and the level of service and luxury that comes with it," Christie said. "The addition of a second tower to this already successful project makes perfect sense."

Trump Las Vegas Tower II will be located northeast of the existing tower. The high-rise will mirror the gold glass exterior and 64-story height of Trump Las Vegas Tower I.

The towers will offer meeting and convention facilities, outdoor pools and sundecks, a complete fitness center, shopping and dining. Details regarding specific floor plans and units are being finalized, according to Christie.

"Our residents and guests will have everything they need to live the Trump lifestyle in Las Vegas," he said.

Trump's first Las Vegas tower is scheduled to open in early 2008.

All guests and residents of Trump Las Vegas will have access to 24-hour concierge and security services, valet parking services and a traditional doorman.

The towers will include 1,282 units each, with studio and one-bedroom units, along with one-, two- and three-bedroom penthouse suites.
