Bridge will transform Hoover Dam from bottleneck to dead end

Reflected in a window Wednesday, the Hoover Dam bypass bridge looks like a broken link to nowhere. But soon it will be the only vehicle route across the Colorado River in the Las Vegas area. When the bypass bridge opens later this year, traffic going across Hoover Dam will dead-end at a parking lot for sight-seers and dam visitors on the Arizona side.
