Kentucky reigns in first round

NEW YORK — John Wall is heading to Washington, and a record number of Kentucky teammates are following him to the NBA.

Chart House

Well, I may as well start with the elephant in the room, which in this case is more of a whale and not of the gambling variety: The Chart House in the newish Rush Tower at the Golden Nugget is centered by a cylindrical, floor-to-ceiling, 75,000-gallon aquarium in which somewhere around 1,000 tropical creatures dwell.

MOVIES

High school pals reunite for a Fourth of July tribute to their late basketball coach in this comedy featuring former “Saturday Night Live” teammates Adam Sandler (who co-wrote the script), Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider. Kevin James (Sandler’s “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” castmate) completes the starting five; Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, Steve Buscemi and ex-“SNL” faves Maya Rudolph and Tim Meadows co-star. (102 min.) PG-13; crude material including suggestive references, profanity and partial nudity. At multiple locations.

‘Solitary Man’

Growing up is hard to do. Especially when you should have done it long ago.

Saint Vitus

His mother used to call it funeral music.

Wayne Brady

Wayne Brady can do it all. He tries to anyway, and doesn’t often miss. But that means he never quite had time to give 100 percent to Las Vegas.

Producer says ‘Vegas! The Show’ is highlight of his career

Dancer Monteece Mask strikes a pose during a rehearsal of producer David Saxe’s “Vegas! The Show” at the Saxe Theater at the Miracle Mile Shops in Las Vegas. The veteran variety show chief says the production is among his best.
