Good Chace proves to be difference maker for UNLV

My buddy is a big New York Giants fan. He has this thing about Eli Manning. He says there is a Good Eli and a Bad Eli, meaning there are days when the quarterback is the best player on a field and days when he, well, isn’t. Days when he is the difference and days when he disappears. Days when you can’t believe how good he is and days when you don’t even realize he’s there.

In matters of trust and betrayal, courts have no consistency

Whose betrayal is greater? A woman who betrayed her best friend? A lawyer who betrayed his clients? A banker and politician who betrayed his customers? An employee who betrayed his employer? A monsignor who betrayed his flock?

Gifts add up for some Nevada politicians

Some Nevada politicians accepted thousands of dollars worth of gifts in 2011, including tickets, clothing and travel accommodations, according to financial disclosure statements filed with the secretary of state.
