Sesquicentennial medallion design approved by state commission

Members of the state Sesquicentennial Commission picked the design for the medallions Tuesday and set a price of $100.50 for each 1-ounce silver piece. Commissioners, meeting by teleconference, also agreed to manufacture 2,000 copper medallions and sell them for $15 each.
